About Us - Port Kembla Cricket Club

 Est. 1912

The Port Kembla Cricket Club (PKCC) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to presenting cricket opportunities that are an integral part of each participants learning experience. This is done with the belief that every participant should be able to participate in the game regardless of race, religion, creed, ability, or financial status. This spirit is fostered in an environment where everyone has a chance to play and learn, regardless of skill. Port Kembla's long term goal is to give its participants positive life-long memories of their cricket days. PKCC is affiliated with the Illawarra Cricket Association (also known as Cricket Illawarra) and Cricket NSW. PKCC currently operates from King George V Oval, Military Rd, Port kembla where 1st and 2nd Grade home games are played on the main turf wicket, with junior teams playing on the adjoining synthetic strip. Lower grade senior teams and some junior teams play home games at Darcy Wentworth Park’s synthetic wicket which is located opposite Warrawong Plaza on Northcliffe Drive in Kemblawarra. Port Kembla Cricket strives to be the premier cricket club in the district in a manner that is positive for these participants.
